There's a big difference between 50% of vaccinated citizens contract covid vs 50% of new infections of the delta variant were contracted by fully vaccinated people.

So if Israel is seeing around 100 cases a day then 50 of those are fully vaccinated. And of those 50, the symptoms aren't severe and no one required hospitalization.

About 57% of Israel is fully vaccinated, so that's around 5 million people. According to you 2.5 million Israelis have contracted covid right?

Hi Ursus, It seems you do not know first thing about vaccine. I have two shots of vaccine because I am smart. Tomorrow, If i go to place where there is COVID i will get COVID for sure if I do not wear mask and not keep distance. Vaccine is not a security guard to say COVID stop do not enter into nose/mouth/Eyes. Whole vaccine goal is reducing sickness and death. So far everywhere it does. From Africa to the US, Canada to Israel everywhere. However, people like you who do not know science and biology mistakenly think anybody gets vaccine must not test positive . I have two shots and if my girlfriend has COVID I catch COVID and test positive if I give tests. However, I will not get sick. Stop writing lies. Stop discouraging readers from getting vaccine. The only way out of COVID 19 is vaccination, vaccination and vaccination.
