Advice for business traveler

My apologies in advance if this is not the appropriate forum for this inquiry.

I'm going to be in the Toronto area on business soon and would like to experience a massage "Toronto style".

Since I'm staying downtown (near Eaton Center) and am not to familiar with the city I was wondering what others might recommend since I'd rather not rent a car just to get a rub, however, I think I could figure out public transit easily enough.

Help a fellow business man out, I'd happily post a review of my experience afterward.

I think one of the major problems is that there really isn't that much to recommend downtown. Brampton, Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Markham are all a bitch to get to from downtown if you are using transit.

D/T is hit or miss. The best Spas are some distance from downtown but well worth it if you can get some transport organized. Some good Spas are at this link:

Not much of a spa guy, but try Embodyment at 518 Yonge St (I think that's the #). That's around Yonge and Wellesley, a ten minute stroll from where you are, or a ride to the Wellesley Street subway stop.

If you get the chance to see a black girl called Christina, post a review. I'm curious to see what others say before taking the plunge myself.

I agree, Downtown, hmm, not much comes to mind, other than the two that closed up.

Rent a car and drive out to Allure, or Hands from Heaven, generally your safest bets.

Transit would be impossible.

You could cab it, but prepare for a coronary when you see how much it costs.

It would be cheaper to rent.

You could hop on the subway and go west right to the end at Kipling Station. Take a bus down to the queensway from there, aim for Kipling and Queensway.

Then head east, (i.e. back towards downtown).

There are several rub and tugs on the Queensway.

I would recommend Elite Retreat, but you are taking a stab at the quality of service.

Elite is very clean, nice place, showers, etc. They have a website, etc.

I would do a search on here to find out more about which chicks are useless there. Seems to me i recall Victoria has good reviews, Jenifer has very bad reviews, and Tabby, i can atest is useless (though she may not be there anymore, thank god)

There are about 4 other R and Ts on the Queensway as you are heading east from Kipling, but i can not reccomend them since i have never been.

But at least you can get there on the subway / bus.

Plan on an hour on transit because the buses are slow pigs
