Hiya Everyone

My friend and I practice various therapies (Reflexology, IHM, Body Massage & Reiki) and we have decided to do a Pamper night in our local village. The village is fairly small and not a great deal of people know about Holistic therapies, so we are hoping this will open up the concept to them. My friend's Daughter is also going to do mini facial, eyebrow shaping and tinting too.

We are going to hire the community centre to do the Pamper night (for approx 3 hours) and provide a small finger buffet and hot drinks.

Can anyone give us some ideas/clues of what else we could do, or what you do/provide for your own pamper nights. What fees we should charge etc.

I do these quite regularly now...
but in other peoples houses...

I offer two treatments to each person upto a max. of 8 in three hours, treatment is 20ish mins long and cost £15 a treatment....the pamper evenings, or well being days i do at community centres or schools are more of a loss needer approach...ie not about making money but getting exposure and clients, these are £7.50 for 15-20mins...

Just a suggestion here.

If there are only three of you doing therapies in a community centre, it might look a bit empty. Why not suggest to some local 'ladies' interest' shops (jewellery, fashion accessories, make up and perfume, etc.) that they also rent a table, say at a cost of around £10-£15 each.

Apart from making the hall look interesting, they could advertise the event in their shops, and will be contributing towards the cost of hiring the hall.

Thanks for your replys everyone, some very interesting ideas. The hall we have hired is not very big to be honest, so it shouldn't look too bear once we have the treatment couchs set up etc.

We have asked someone who does Body shop parties to come along and set out her wares too. Might make it a little more interesting for people while they are waiting. Figured if we put spiritual/holistical magazines on the tables for them to read while they are waiting should make the wait less boring too.

Any more ideas anyone?
