Vincent,You want to ask other therapist's their experience with working with a DC.I worked for DC's for about two years part time when I got out of school and it was great experience. I was privileged to work with fellow therapists and learn the ropes of medical massage, which I carry on in my private practice today. Some things to discuss with the doc as an independent contractor.1. Set your hours at no more than 4 hours per day. They have a tendency to work you like a dog, not considering the "energy" needed to perform your work.2. Set the $ figures in 15 minute units. That is, take no less than the considered "norm" in your area. Also, be sure that you are making atleast $25-30/hr.3. Perform no more than 16 units for the 4 hour period and limit yourself to a reasonable amount of days per week to prevent burn out. These are just suggestions, nothing is fixed in stone. Just remember, As a professional, you have to think like one in order to be treated like one.Kimberly
