I creeped around the board for a little while and felt it was time to contribute. so here it is

I been to blue pearl spa many a time, and tried many another place, like alphacare and many a random place in whiskey a go go neighborhood. Blue pearl is the cleanist place I have been yet. The girls are all good looking and actually give great massages to boot. I admit I haven't tried HFH yet, but I plan to in the near future. But as of now, Blue Pearl is the best I have seen.

I recommend monica the most, but everyone else is superb in the massage area

True a gorgeous spa indeed, but with licensing issues, I feel much safer in a MP that is licensed. Allure,Utopia,Club 2 Mountains, HFH and IT are examples of this. The last thing I need is my name smeared all over the morning paper for my wife and kids to read. Just in case you missed it I wrote earlier.

Please educate yourself. If you want to know if any spa is licensed simply call the City or Town that they're in.
If you call the bylaw department they have to tell you whether a spa is licensed or not, it's public information.
Call The City Of North York(416-395-7412) and they will tell you themselves that BluePearl's licensed was revoked in September and has yet to be reinstated,BP is appealing the descion but will most likely never be re-licensed again. Call yourself to confirm. If you still have doubts ask to physically see the license yourself when you enter the spa, and make sure to check the expiration date. It's too bad one of the nicest spa's in the city doesn't have owners that are truthful to their clients.

My past near brush with LE at BP has scarred me off from the place. No wonder there have been problems. Always thought this was strict license like IT, Allure. what else is good and licensed around there?

Well roadrage you should post the truth bout bp cuz the last thing i would want also is to have my name posted about a bust,I just got off the phone with a Dawn Clarke at the by-law office and she told me that bp is a licensed establishment and FYI i did check the permit on the wall it is hanging in clear view when you walk in on the left side of the front desk.I frequent this place alot and i to dont need any problems,so please do your homework before you post.And i find it strange that your first post is about a permit issue,i think you are a disgruntled spa owner trying to give bp a bad name!

Perhaps the City of North York figured out they had provided incorrect info to the first caller and got it right the second time, or finally processed that outstanding bit of paperwork to properly update their files.

It seems unlikely that Roadrage would provide the info with secondary motives, while in the same post provide the phone number for someone to follow-up and prove him wrong.

Okay, I'm being picky, but guys, don't bother calling the City of North York, because it doesn't exist anymore. Remember, we all got rolled into one big happy city called Toronto now. Perhaps that where the confusion started .... licensing issues with old City of North York, paperwork getting caught up with new megacity, although I don't think Blue Pearl started up operations until after the formation of the megacity.

Not wanting to get caught up in any problems during my next visit to BP, I called the city of Toronto shortly after readind SMD's
post. YES, they are licensed I was told. She actually said this was the 4th call this morning.
If that were the case (confusion due to paperwork being caught up) then why did RRage post something to the effect that he was told their license was revoked in September. And what by-law office would ever say, BP would never have their license reinstated. I had no idea that a by-law clerk also moonlights as a jugde. LOL. It just sounds a little fishy to me.

I am glad other massageplanet.netites made the call to get the true facts,its unfortunate that there are jealous people out there trying to ruin other peoples fun by scaring them off!it goes to show you people are to discredit bp,and imo it is other spa owners!!!

I personally was not referring to a spa owner that far away, that has no competion (demographicaly speaking). They are way far away, are they not? There are tonns of spas in that direct vicinity
who would have more to gain by slandering BP. I do not see his name mentioned anywhere.
Am I missing something???
I am inclined to think more along the lines of spa owners in NorthYork.

I had an absolutely wonderful session Tuesday with Jenna at BP. FINALLY hooked up with her after my first session way back in the fall. Here's the final word. BP is licensed (and so is Jenna).

The spa itself is like a resort. Jenna gave me a tour of the basement and it looks great. Looks like there's a big jacuzzi room on the way. I'm looking forward to a swim... (What stroke should I do?)

Crazyman you sure have a funny way of letting everyone know how "interested" you are in seeing her. If you do see her, have the balls to tell her what lie you tried to start on her. It'll make for a very short session I'm sure.

A couple of words for you to check out in your copy of Websters. "Class" and "dignity". Get some of both.

I don't post very often and usually enjoy reading the posts on here but this thread is confusing. Before Jenna left another Sp she was perfect. All positive comments and everything was great. Now that she is with Blue Pearl I see her getting slammed on here and it is a little disheartening. Guys she is still the same beautiful person she was at her former job and I have personally been to blue pearl and find it professional, clean and classy. So if you support one spa or another that is fine, but IMHO Jenna is one of the nicest people I have met and she DOES read the board so perhaps a little compassion might be in order!
