Sheik,
I loved the facilities as well. Sal has done a beautiful job with the place. It's too bad his management skills are not as good as his renovation skills.
The time issue, which I wrote about before, is a problem which Sal and Diane refuse to acknowledge. I was a regular customer from the time BP opened and I discussed this with them on a number of ocassions. They refused to budge. I could understand if they had people stacking up in the reception area, and you're taking up a room for an unreasonable period of time, but come on - 10 mins before and 10 mins after the attendant leaves the room is not excessive by any standard - particularly if you want to take a shower after the session.
Another problem that has not been mentioned, but while were on the subject, is them telling you someone is working when you call, and when you arrive they lady is not working. This didn't just happen once or twice, but four times. I have even booked appointments and shown up and then been told the attendant didn't work there anymore. This is a case of bait and switch, hoping that once you're there you will take anyone who is available.
In so far as the up and down prices are concerned, I don't have a problem with attendant's raising their rates - you can always say no thanks. If you pay more than the market rate for a service, then you have no one to blame but yourself.
I'm sure that Sal still has the money rolling in, his location is excellent and the place is nice. Fortunately for the rest of us, there is Body and Soul, Platinum and other places nearby that provide service which is as good or better without all the drama.
