Hi all.
Is there anybody else out there who is REALLY BORED with the selection of music for therapists. Personally, I don't want humping whales or trickly water with mindblowingly boring lift music underneath.
Anyway, after a lot of moaning and trying to put the therapy music world to rights, My hubby has promised to make me an album to suit my therapy (Reflexology), and which is a general ambient "soundscape" to suit anything else I may do in the future. Something that's not New Age whalesong, classical, or modern ballads. However, I may not be the only one who feels this way, so I thought I'd find out who else would be in need of such an album.
1. Do you feel that there are enough C.D.'s out there already and do they suit your needs? Are they relaxing enoug? Do they suit the mood of your therapy.
2. If you could commission your own C.D. what would you have on it and how many would you have (to stop boredom setting in as you will be listening to them quite often!). Would you have one and play it all week, or would you have a different one every day?
3. How long would it be, what format and tempo (i.e. intro, relaxation and then a few minutes to "wake up" at the end)?
I haven't found anything in the therapy genre that fulfills all of my requirements. Maybe you have a fantastic C.D that is everything you could ever need. If so, please tell me so that I can have a go with it! If not, why not put a list of things you would like to see, and I'll get hubby to put something together to suit. I'll keep you posted!
Thanks
