Botched interview question

On Monday I interview with a veteran therapist (15 years experience) to rent some space from her. I've only been granduated about a year so it would an ideal experience to be associated with such a respected therapist that is community conected, and firmly believes in mentoring. Anyway, I'm not the only one she's looking into so does anyone have any interview pointers or suggestions? I'm worried she'll ask what I bring to the table or something and I'll brain lock. : I really really want this opportunity. (If there was a pleading or praying Emoticon I'd use it)

Just be yourself and answer her questions honestly. Have confidence in your abilities and don't be afraid/shy to talk about your strong points.

i totally agree with gessika. the best thing you can do is be yourself, have confidence in what you have to offer your clients.

before you go there, think about why it is that you want to work here. really ask yourself that question. write down the answers if it helps you. also think of any other questions that may come up and think of how you'd answers those. that'll help get you prepared.

be confident in who you are. you could also let her know that you are looking forward to working with someone with the experience that she has. but remember that you BOTH bring something to the table. make her believe that she'll benefit from having YOU working there too!

The homepage on your website has a great description of what you bring to the table.....a customized session.

I agree that you should present who you are and what you love about your job and let the relationship happen if it is to be. Make sure you want to be mentored by this lady. Prepare some questions for her.

You are a therapist already and you are only seeing if you would mesh well together in her environment. You are not looking to be validated by this MT. So make sure you get your questions answered also. Make sure you have questions about her work/ethics/procedures, etc.
