Hi
I was hoping for some professional courtesy advice.
I recently was offered a position in a chiropractic personal injury clinic.
The DC doesn't handle workmans comp but offered to let me use his clinic if I
obtain any WC clients from referrals.
The DC will not be taking out taxes. He will just cut me a check every week. I'm
salary so I would get the same pay every week from him for the hours I work on
his patients. Any WC pay I receive will be all mine. I have received my NPI and
Ohio WC numbers.
My question is, will I need to obtain a business license to work there and start
to see WC clients on my non scheduled time? If I become an LLC company would I
also need to obtain an EIN number and apply for a business license or is
becoming an LLC an alternative to a business license?
I appreciate any advice you can give me.
Regards
