Calgary massage $ is insanely high

While in Toronto a 60 minute massage is priced at $60 in most places, Calgary seems to have bumped up the prices to 85 or 90 in most places. With receipt its now touching 105 for a 60 minute massage. This is crazy.

Totally agree. $100 for a sometimes mediocre massage, crazy.

The one that is seriously laugh worthy advertises on Kijiji as 105 for 50 minutes, 158 for 80 minutes. . Suckers are everywhere

Calgary does have high room fees but the add ons are generally pretty cheap.

I was in Toronto and was quoted $50 for an hour and thought that was great……then once inside I was quoted $100 for a HJ. I said no and that I’ve always paid $40 and when it’s exceptional, maybe $60. She flatly refused so I left.

That’s happened on more than one occasion. I never pay more than $120 for an hour with a HJ and $200 max for an hour FS with 2 shots.

It must be a 80 year old granny in a diaper. Calgary’s economy is better than any other areas in Canada. Canada overall sucks in economy but when the economy is good, pretty girls have a job and they don’t have to touch a random stranger’s ding and cleans up his goo. Calgary’s unemployment rate is 7.5% whereas Toronto is 8.8%. If you take gig jobs out, it will go over 10%. Most of young girls with education in Calgary are almost fully employed. And net income for Calgarians is 10% higher than Torontonians.

You can’t see hot young girls at massage parlors anymore because they can still afford to go out and travel overseas once a year with their jobs. Many of them also have a side hustle online and they don’t have to drain anyone’s pipe anymore.

no. Calgarians are just dumb. The market decides what pricing will be and the market obviously allows it.

I don't care anymore though, I get a nice $8 /hr massage w whatever else I want for less than $40 CAD total now.
