Hi all
My dad started complaining of a knotted shoulder, so I immediately gave him a good firm massage and although he said he felt it ease a little it soon came back and has gradually worsened. It is now travelling down his left arm and giving him pins and needles, so making it hard for him to get comfortable. He operate heavy plant machinery, so as you can imagine the vibrations and constant hand movements have given him RSI symptoms. He has had tunnel syndrome before and thinks it is cropping up again. I really dont know too much about it, so thought I would delve into the wealth of information you all have between you. Any ideas of complementary ways of how to deal with this, as he already suffers from diabetes, heart problems, asthma, crumbling knees etc etc and has to take a huge array of different tablets.
He's a wonderful man, it'd be nice if I could bring him a little comfort for a change as he must be suffering because he's an old fashioned bloke who really doesnt complain unless its serious (he blamed a heart attack a few years ago on an overipe banana....said it was just heart burn and went for a walk until it passed....sheesh)
love and light all
