CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A massage parlor at the Charleston Town Center has been shut down after police executed a search warrant at the business.
Charleston police confirmed members of the Special Enforcement Unit executed the search warrant Thursday night at Green Spa after receiving several complaints from customers of sexual contact being made during massages.
Investigative Services Bureau Chief Lt. Tony L. Hazelett said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had also been given information regarding the case. Police said that no arrests have been made. However, Eyewitness News reached out to the mall's owners, Hull Property Group, for comment who said two arrests were made.
"I have heard that the Charleston Police executed a search warrant and made two arrests," a spokesperson for Hull Property Group said. "We always applaud the efforts of the police to maintain law and order and keep us all safe, and we look forward to the Charleston Police Department concluding their investigation and the prosecuting attorney bringing any charges they deem appropriate."
Hazelett said police had been in contact with Hull Property Group.
