As of Sunday, no more massages. My GF is home until Jan 7th, so this isn't a big deal to me personally, but we'll see how the industry fares being closed for four weeks. I went as soon as I found out so I could drop some cash at my fave spot and help them out as much as I can.

Ur a good person BB! I just booked a massage appointment at my fav spot too before the closure. The more days they close the more I want the massage lol. Panic panic panic!!

The last minute push is on. I just got a text from a lady in the west end who I have seen several times, but not someone I that I think would consider me a regular. She must be going through her old messages drumming up business before a very slow Christmas season. This will be the "Kill Shot" for many businesses and people alike? Some will survive, others that have hung in there this long...it may be too much. Many longstanding locally owned businesses are now gone. Very sad! Will it be only a month? Hmmm, The two words that stick in my mind from Dr. Hinshaw's announcement that more restrictive protocols would be implemented were "At Least" . She must have said "At Least" one month 5 times!?

A month would be tough enough on some. My thought is it won’t lift at least until flu season is over. End of February. It’s going to be very hard on a lot of young and old people both mentally and financially

Drove down Whyte ave after my visit to 99 st spa. Was very surprised to see so many vacant shops along the way. I am very sad to see closures for small businesses. Seems to me they have the best opportunity to stay open and follow COVID protocol.

Well, you can thank all the ass clowns who never did (and still don't, despite all the sickness and death going on around them) take this thing seriously and thought they knew more then science, medicine etc. In the end, they were proven wrong but they still will not see it. Arguing with them is like playing chess with a pigeon. It will shit all over the board, knock the pieces down and strut around like it won.
