Hi,
Our local community college just released a flyer and they are looking for members in the community to teach non-credit classes. I am committed to teach a basic massage class sometime in late Aug or early Sept. My question: Has anyone on the board taught a class and would they please share some of their insights as to what worked as well as what didnt work when teaching a class?
The director has suggested that it be marketed as a couples massage class to avoid the discomfort someone might feel if they are touched by someone they dont know. My thought, they will not sign up if that is a concern. Also, he suggested a series to keep community interest. I do not want the community to get any ideas that they will get any more than a basic overview. Second question: Any ideas for a series of classes?
Thank you
PS It is not essential that you have taught a class. Any insight will be gladly appreciated!
