Currently Allure is getting a full and complete overhaul.Not only they are renovating the existing rooms but like SRM they are adding for new big size rooms with bigger showers. and they are also adding a Sauna room.
The existing rooms have already been refurbished with new paint, new furniture,new mirrors and the new shower stalls with brand new showers.The new look is more harmonious as these rooms now share this nice Ikea'ish look with the addition of same stainless steel clock,table and the shelf.They are also going to change the broadloom too(WHich IMO is still in very good shape).
Overall the whole new look reminds me of a major hotel chain (I cannot recall the name right now).
The biggest disappointment so far is the size of these shower stalls which is extremly tight for at least a person of my size and even the girls found them tighter.The tiles they have used on the stalls are of very high quality and they do look elegent but i don't know why they made the shower floor with plastic , i found it extremly slippery.
So all of there existing rooms are pretty much in level with Srm's older rooms .Now we have to see how the new rooms are going to be like?

I always found all of Allure's rooms to be in great shape, except the first one on the left, which is a bit small for my tastes. But change is good ... and a little variety goes a long way. It's nice to hear that the showers are being replaced ... some of the old ones were problematic. Regarding the new rooms, making them theme-based would be a nice touch, but I'm sure Dina will not disappoint whichever way she goes.

VBB can usually tell about a person just by looking at posts.
The new showers at Allure are designed for shorter ,smaller guys.Anyone over 5.10' is going to lean on the side wall to get their body washed.

There is no difference in height between the new showers and the old ones. The only difference is that the surface of the shower is slightly smaller than the old one.
Also, the shower head is both height adjustable and detachable. The height of the shower is a standard size and you will certainly not need to lean to one side to get your body washed.

We are undertaking major renovations so that we may bring you an even better spa experience, so please try and choose your words a little more carefully before you go and discourage persons of a larger size from coming to our studio.
I know you meant no harm as you have always been a great supporter of ours but please don't forget that we have feelings and putting blood, sweat and tears into a project only to have someone nit-pic it down to size hurts.

Come on BuddyDina! As long as you and all the lovely ladies remain @ Allure, you could have a pail filled with dirty water and a filthy rag for the cleanup and I'm sure all the boys would be leaving with smiles on their faces.

First, congrats to Dina for making her spa a better place for her staff and the customers.

Second, I got the idea for the nickname "Big M" because he uses capitals in his handle.

Third, I am a big fan of the first room on the left, I do enjoy the ergonomic pillow and the abundance of mirrors even though it is slightly cramped. Note: I have only been in three different rooms so far.

Forth, the pail and rag are part of the VIP session you just have to ask for it.

They have got these ortopedic pillows in all of the rooms now.
I am not the biggest fan of the lil room but then again ,i've had many great meories of some excellent sessions there.

The last room down the hall on the right with the pictures of the large cats does not have the pillow and I was there quite recently, review to follow.
