Made a stop by Star to see what all the hoopla is about and discovered the man was in the house. No one arrested, no one charged, and it's still open. But a long time massageplanet.net buddy always told me to stay away on Thursdays. I should have listened.

If that's the Star Studio on Steeles in Vaughan, well that's "par for the course" with the LE in Vaughan for all MP's .

It's the Star Studio in Scarlem on Kennedy Rd South of the 401.
The Star Studio on Steeles is also in Toronto not Vaughn and has nothing to do with the other Star Studio.

Was at Star Studio (Kennedy S. of 401) in early Aug. I arrived without an appt and greeted at the door by a girl whose name I can't remember. She offered a session and took me to a room. Asked for the door fee and said she'd be back soon. I got undressed and laid on the table and waited. Waited. Waited. I waited 1/2 hour ( I was enjoying the Herbie Hancock on the CD but enough is enough). I got dressed and went out to find out what was going on. I found all the MPA's in a back room talking to 2 guys (no uniforms or badges) and I ignored them and spoke the the girl who took my money and told her times up, I have to go, give me back my door fee. She asked me to return the the room and she'd be with me momentarily. I returned to the massage room and she came in a few minutes later. She said the guys were LE and this was "a big deal for me". I told her I just wanted my money back since no service was supplied and I'd be outta there. She said she'd return the money and left the room. Another girl then came in and said it was spa policy to not return $. I told her that was ridiculous since I hadn't rec'd any service. She told me to call the manager the next day and come back. I did call the next day and when I returned that evening they had my $40. However, I won't be returning, ever. I also made my most recent visit to an independent provider (not FS) who works out of her own place. I don't know if those 2 guys were LE but I'd rather not ever find out.

Unless the MPA's provide FS, then I'm guessing everything is legal, but I could be wrong, I'm just a newbie.

Depends on region. In Peel Region all Massage parlour services are legal.

Don't get too excited. You are wrong. LE visits massage places for many different reasons. Yes prostitution is one of them. In this case they were checking to make sure all the girls had their licenses. All MP's get checked out sooner or later.

As part of their licensing, spas must agree to regular inspections.

Most of the time these inspections are bylaw officers just making sure the girls have their licenses. Sometimes the POLICE will accompany the bylaw officers too.

As a client, if U intend to visit MP's you MUST realize inspections are always a risk.
