Couch Roll and face Cradles help

Hi, I'm doing my first (paid) holistic massage sessions on saturday, and for the first time in a hired treatment room. I'm used to a couch with a face hole but have not used one with a face cradle (the treatment room has a couch with a face cradle)

Can anyone advise on what to do with the couch roll and couch cover - do you cover the cradle with couch roll and tear a breathing hole in the couch roll or do you place an ordinary towel on the cradle (without putting couch roll on it) or do you pull the couch cheet over the cradle and line the sheet and cradle holes up together or what??!!

think i'm probably paniking a bit over small details but any advice on towels, couch roll etc will be greatly appreciated!

You can buy separate covers for the cradle, but can't tell you where as I don't do that - I generally put a towel around it (small one) fold it into 3 lengthwise and then fold down each top L and R corner then put it on cradle and cover whole couch in couch roll including cradle and make a breathing hole where the cradle is. It works fine.

your cover will probably cover it. sorry for the over use of the word cover by the way. if not like bonah says you can cover the cradle with a towel. what type of cover do u have is it good quality?
i panicked so much on my first paying client but the feeling when you've finished and they give you the money is amazing! you really feel you've madea difference no matter how small!

Depending on the client I either use the face hole or the cradle.

The cradle has the advantage of giving you a wider scope of angle for the head and neck.

I use head cradle covers or I just lay a small towel over the cradle and push it in so they are able to get a clear air flow. When the client is on their front and put their face in the cradle this often brings their shoulders right to the edge of the couch if not a little over. Using a cradle may seem a little unusual at first but it does give you better access to some areas.

Work with it and be confident. Or at least give the impression you are!

I have got special head cradle covers because I also use them on my massage chair. I got them from march couches because they are just down the road from me. You can also use couch roll - split the sheet down the middle and tuck it away so there is a breathing hole

you can find head cradle sheets etc by typing just that into google

The day went well, I managed to relax after a while and enjoyed it. I think I'll get some of those cradle covers for next time.
