Couch Roll

Just wanted to share this with you. I just found an online supplier for couch roll which is a lot cheaper than Capital and Aston & Fincher and the like. They do next day delivery and sell it in boxes of 9 rolls. it was £12.99 for a box ex. VAT. It's www.couchrolls.co.uk. Last time I bought couch roll from Capital it cost me £15 for 3 rolls! It's also recycled!

Don't do it!!
My partner bought some about a year ago and it's the worst quality stuff he's ever worked with (we bought the standard, non recycled).
I understand that it's a consumable product so it may not have to be the best, but having to phaff around for a short while folding it and then ripping it in little chunks to tear a piece off really doesn't look or feel professional.
They won't be getting our custom again, that's for sure.
As an aside they also messed up the postage, so the delivery man was trying to deliver it up in scotland, whereas we're based in Huddersfield! lol

I got mine last week and they're fine, better than the ones I got from salons direct.

Probably not as good quality as Kimwipe, but who can afford that?

Mine arrived yesterday and after reading your reply gorseflower quickly opened them up to have a look. They look fine - perforated too so no problems tearing. I'm pleased so far with them.

After posting I started thinking I should have mentioned it was just my experience, as I sound quite against them!
We arrived at the conclusion that they'd be fine on a roller, for a stationary couch in a therapy room, but for hand-held mobile tearing they are pants.
Comparing with a random (really good quality, and really easy to tear) roll he was given by a person on his course, they could be better.
