Howdy - In developing a logo, I'd like to find an example of a single thick line drawing representing the curve of a back/spine. I'm frustrated as I've seen it before in logos or graphics somewhere, but I've googled forever and can't find it again. I don't intend to rip anyone off but to find an example for my logo designer (with whom I'm swapping Thanks.

I have seen them also, you don't feel comfortable drawing one yourself? couldn't find any online in a short search for you.

well, I too had fun looking through various abstract searches for you, to no avail.

Suggestion? go into Word (or other typing function) and type S, s, and ~ (tilde). Highlight them, select a big font size, then scroll through the fonts. I think you might be able to find a close facsimile to what you are looking for in one of the handwritten font styles.

My original business card had one on it that I drew myself. I bled it off the edges of my card in a grey color.

Your logo designer, should be able to google for spine and search for "images" and get a real good idea of what the curves look like. Then, all he/she would need to do is do a line drawing of the curvatures.
