Do you have to introduce yourself in an orientation?

I have to go to an orientation today, and, I sort of have anxiety if I talk out loud. I shake, become nauseous, etc. I was wondering if you have to introduce yourself during an orientation? Like, hi my name is -name here- I like to -object here-?

It would have been nice had you told us what kind of orientation you're attending. I'm thinking freshman because of the time of year, in which case I doubt very seriously if you'll have to do any inter-active stuff at all.

Those things are pretty much to orient you to the campus basics; grounds, chow hall, security office, dorm rules, etc.

I did these duties for years and our intention was to get them in and get them out ASAP. Although a lot depends on the size of the school, if it's a small one, you very well may have to make an introduction or two.

Only, I doubt it.
