hi!
We have just started renting an apartment with Economy 7 water heating etc. However, although it's a large boiler (bigger than my bath!) I only seem to be able to get about 4 inches of hot water in the bath before it goes cold. This also equates to about 20 minutes in the shower before it goes cold. We also have night-storage heating, which seems to work fine in the lounge, but there are no dials on the one in the hall other than a switch next to it on the wall (which although is on, no heat comes out).
There are two "controller units" next to the boiler, both Newlec, one offering settings of "Auto", "all day", "24hrs", and "off". That one is currently set to "off".
The other controller unit has "Water Heater" written on it, and a "boost" button. under the hood there are options for "manual boost" and "timed boost" and is currently set for 6am-10am timed boost.
Can anyone tell me how I can get a good bath of hot water??
Thanks in advance!
Dom
