Hi there
Has anyone else tried floatation?

I just did and can't believe how amazing it is and why it is not more popular. I was worried that I might be claustrophobic but where I did it, at the London Floatation Tank Centre, [link=http://www.londonfloatcentre.com]London floatation tank centre[/link], they have these spacious FLOATROOMS not tanks.

I had a float at a health farm and was amazed too at how open it made my mind - fantastic and very refreshing to completely step out of time!
 
Definitley use the vaseline they provide though - any little cut will sting and will detract from the experience
 
I too have tried floating and agree it is wonderful, so relaxing and wonderful to feel so supported by the water. A totally new and to begin with unnerving experience for a non swimmer like me! Defiantely use the vaseline (and earplugs) though as the salt gets everwhere, in all little cuts and abrasions and can be really painful.
