Fun things you can do with vistaprint...

Happy Sunday everyone - hope you are all relaxing or doing something fun!

Just want to do a little posting about some fun things I did with VP this week, I have been ordering from them for years but lately its been a little "same 'ol same 'ol" so I injected a little extra creativity.

1. Make Random Act of Kindness cards using their business cards, easy to keep with you and pass out when you are being extra nice. I leave them in a coffee cup, whith a dollar, and set it next to the coffee machine at walmart and gas stations

2. Make Water Bottle lables for your business using their flyer template and a lot of copying and pasting. pretty easy once you get the hang of it! (25 flyers free, 6 to 7 lables per page) Nice and glossy so they dont absorb condensation too much.

3. Make a cute business notepad, in response to all of the "OH, can I have your card - CHristmas, V-day, my birthday whatever! is coming up, I'd like to give it to my husband/mom/whoever" (You know that response! I hear it all the time anyway) So I printed a free VP notepad with my image and logo, every page says:

Dear _________,
For _________(insert occasion here)____ I would really love a
__One Hour __ 90 Minute __Two Hour massage from (my name).

Call xxx-xxx-xxxx and she will take care of the rest.

I love you,
________________
I just thought that was kind of fun and people might get a kick out of it. Got the idea from one of my email marketing things, I'll try to find it and give credit later tonight.

4. Instead of appointment cards make appointment sticky notes.

Ok thats all I have...just some out of the box ideas to have a little fun with

Savannah, you can unsubscribe from their mailings. I got tired of all ther promotions and just cut them off. I'll still use them when I need them. I just don't want an extra 10 emails per week.

Since I don't own a car, I nailed it to the outside of my coteforum.xxxe as a sign. Since my massage studio is also my home, I needed something unobtrusive to show my business without encouraging drop ins.

Nice idea, Sally! I work from my home on occasion for energy work and readings, and having the client be able to know which duplex unit was the correct one before ringing the doorbell would be great. Also, my front door doesn't face the street, so it's especially nice--not TOO visible. Then I could maybe get brave and actually use the car sign on my car, too.

I designed myself a car door magnet, then specifically chose NOT to order it. I decided against it because I live on a mile+ dirt road and can't possibly keep the exterior of my car clean. It would give a bad impression of me. (I can wash in town, but by the time I get home the bottom half of the car is covered with dust and dirt.)

Same reason I don't use my customized license plate holder, wasted money in my case...

I had two car magnets, one on each side, but I gave up the ghost after the second one was lost on the highway. Had them for a good long while, but I think our weather is no match for magnetics.

I have purchased a lovely and large window decal for my rear window, but I'm holding back for the same reasons backcountry listed! I live at the end of a gravel road 15 miles from the highway...soo....I get a little dirty just going into town!

Maybe this will help?

- Click the Img key. A "eforum.xxx" will pop into the text field that looks like this .

- Paste the URL of your image right after that eforum.xxx, with no spaces, like this: [img]http://www.fancypics.com/image.jpg

- Scroll down and click Preview. Another eforum.xxx will pop into the text field that looks like this and in the preview, you should see your image. If you only see the eforum.xxxs and the URL, make sure there are no spaces before or after the URL .jpg[/img]

- Scroll down and add additional text if you chose, then Preview again, or Submit.
