They pop up with this advertisement on Kijiji.
Went in and was coldly greeted by a skinny asian woman in her thirties not the best looking, wearing a mid thighs red skirt and too much makeup who asked me to follow her in a hallway leading to the rooms. Her rough appearance made me wonder if I should just go, but figured I’ll stay and try it out.
Once in the room I confirmed that I called earlier about a one hour massage.
She exited the room and as I was taking my shirt off she entered asking for “80 dollar” with her palm outstretched.
I very politely mentioned that I usually pay at the end and reminded her about the $70 special. The answer was exactly this : “ No!!! Pay first! at the end you say no like massage and no want to pay”. I asked her laughingly if I look to her like someone who would run without paying and as I put my shirt back on she started raising her voice about people coming and then not wanting to pay.A bit bizarre that she can’t figure out how to treat a customer who definitely does not look anything like someone who would run away after the massage.
I left thinking that if the massage touches are as graceful as her attitude it was probably a good idea to go away and not find out about what seemed like a certainty.

Thanks for posting this. Things are getting quite bizarre considering the economy is going down the toilet in this region. Obviously some of these money laundering spas (?) bring in women who are being coerced by them (human trafficking) and don't have a clue. They are being exploited, places and simple. Walk away, and help shut them down.

Went in for a massage here, definitely felt like I got ripped off.. however I was thinking with the wrong head.

Was greeted by an attractive Chinese woman named Nana (petite build, nice B-cups, probably in her mid-late 20s), who knew enough English words to get her point across. She was asking for $300 upfront for the hour, I said I didn't want full service just a sensual rub down.. seemed like she was stuck on the price, shook her head like it didn't matter what I asked for as long as she got paid what she wanted. I negotiated down to a $220 nude body massage which i know is expensive, however I was thinking with the wrong head.

Massage was non existant, just an oiled-up rub down. When we got to the flip I thought all good, maybe we can make up for it with her good looks and enthusiasm. Started the tractor up, and kept pulling away everytime I tried to get into it. Eventually she got into jackhammer mode which I had to literally grab her hands towards the end to slow the fuck down.. She seemed to be inclined to take positive criticism at the end when all was said and done, but at what expense from my end?

Been in Calgary for a month now, and the 3 encounters I've had here were horrible.. Edmonton Asian scene seems to be a level above Calgary's.

Thanks for the post. One can't really compare Calgary to Edmonton or any wherelse for that matter.

Let's just say around here if they feel and think they can take you for a ride then you are going for ride. Unless of course you put your foot down. But don't worry you are not the only one thinking with the wrong head! There is a reason why and how they think they can pull such a stunt off with the rates and services. What can I say! Welcome to Calgary???
