I've been to my fair share of "Nuru" and, as others have said, the real deal needs 3 things: (1) Nuru gel. Not oil, or lotion, or anything else. Without the gel, it's not a Nuru experience. (2) A waterproof surface like an inflatable mattress on the floor, or even a rubber sheet. If it's on a regular bed or massage table, there will be concern about getting the surface covered in oil or whatever they use. (3) Naked body on body sliding. If you have had a body slide with oil, it is similar but with Nuru gel, there is much less friction and drag as she slides around. The really talented providers will be able to maneuver themselves almost effortlessly and even spin around and change direction.
An oil body slide can be lots of fun, but if you want a real Nuru experience, ask some questions up front. The term has become a marketing technique much like calling something Tantric.
