How do i introduce my cats?

ok so i found this girl cat in a parking lost and the people at the place we were at said we could take her so when we got home i let her explore the house and then she found my other cat and he attacked her and so now the cat we found is in my room and my other cat has the rest of the house. i tryed the towel thing and my cat doesnt care about the sent but when he sees the girl cat he starts hissing and wants to attack her. then i tryed the door thing and opend my door a crack and let the 2 see eachother but they both hiss and run away. can someone help me make the 2 cats friends?

It depends on how long you've had the male cat. If he's been there more than a year it's his turf and he's not going to easily allow interlopers. You may not be able to integrate this new cat, if you do it will take time and you will need to cater to him a bit.

You need to reassure the male resident cat that the new cat is second to him in your esteem.

If you give treats always give to him first.

If you feed, feed him first...

You get the idea.

As for integrating them physically, don't rush it. Leave them as is for a week or two. Then start leaving the door open a crack. Then more....

In a few weeks she'll start to explore at night and there will likely be fights. That is unavoidable.

He will need to assert his seniority and cats do this physically. Some fur may fly but no one will die.

Then they'll settle in to their determined positions of authority in the house with only occasional skirmishes when the new cat oversteps her position.

Don't be upset by all this, it's just how cats are socialized. Dogs are quite similar with the Alpha through Omega positioning of status. Can't change them, so don't try.
