How do you introduce a that's been in the family longer to a new rabbit?

As u can see i love animals I have a 3 year old rabbit and I want to maybe adopt a baby dwarf lop bunny.(My rabbit is a dwarf too). Last time i got a tiny teeny baby bunny and my rabbit didn't like him at all. So we had to give him away My older rabbit put his right front paw on the tiny rabbits ear a jumped right on him! We were so scared. So I really don't want that to happen again so pleez help

for a rabbit that has been by its self for a long time its not going to be that easy what you may want to do is put the cages side by sid for a while and slowly introduce them to each other hope this help a little

Most rabbits don't enjoy a companion - they're territorial and will attack a new rabbit that's introduced to them. That's why the House Rabbit Society says they must both be neutered first and then gives 6 pages of advice on how to get 2 rabbits to accept each other.
