How should I ask her to introduce me?

Ages ago, I was checking through facebook and I came across this guy's profile. I instantly felt attracted to him.. but just didn't really think of it at the time. However, i've seen him around town a few times and I decided to check out his profile again. I found out he's into a lot of the things I am, and I asked a friend a while back what he's like and she said he's one of the nicest guys around etc...

I want to ask my friend to introduce me to him, but i'm not sure how to ask..?? He seems really nice, and I want to get to know him. So how should I ask her? If she does.. it would be through facebook and then hopefully i'll be able to meet him some time in town..

I just think.. that if I add him on facebook without my friend telling him about me first, etc.. it's a bit weird. Like, he'll think i'm sad adding him.. and not knowing who he is..

You can introduce yourself directly if you have his facebook profile. Why go all the length to go through a friend. Its much easier this way.
