How should I introduce myself to someone I have only talked to online?

I am currently in a high school class that has only been in session one week. There is a girl in my class who my friends knew and said is really nice. We are in a lectured filled class all day and then go out in assigned groups. So I never got a chance to talk to her in person. So I sent her a quick message on facebook this weekend saying hello and that we are in the same class and I know some of her friends. Well she wrote back and we have sent each other about twenty messages. We have a lot of the same interests and I think we have the potential to be pretty good friends. But I have never talked to her in person.

On Monday how should I go up to her? She already knows my name because of facebook but should I still introduce myself? What should I first say? Any conversation starters? Often it is easier to talk online than in person because you can have the time to think of more things to say. Thanks!
