how to introduce a puppy to an older dog?

I am having a puppy to introduce into the family ,I already have one older dog .How can I introduce the puppy to my older dog?
any advice ? thanks.

I think the best way is just gradually, maybe bring it in one day having the puppy or older dog on a leed when they meet, keeping a close eye on them both..
Also, make sure that you give the older dog as much attention, the thrill of a new puppy is wonderful, but you don't want the older dog feeling like it's going to be left out when the new puppy arrives.

Well make sure they're both on a leash, then let them see each other. Walk with them, side by side. If they growl or start to fight, wait a little. If not, then your good to go! Your older dog will be more likely to attack the younger one if he's jealous or if he doesn't like other dogs. Hopefully they'll accept each other. Good luck!

If it's the same breed then just put it right in front of the older dog. if it is not the same breed, walk up the puppy to the older dog on a leash.
