How would i introduce a Chihuahua to an Aust. Shep. Aust. Cattle Dog mix?

My Aust. Shep. Aust. Cattle Dog mix (Mandy) Used to hate other dogs. She's recently gotten better. She usually stays outdoors (say nothing, that isn't abuse). If you've seen my other question, you know i'm interested in getting a Chihuahua. Well, someone brought up a good point: socialization. I'd like them to know each other. Mandy didn't seem to mind when we were leaving petsmart, the fact that she was surrounded by other dogs. She even sniffed another dog! How could i probperly introduce a Chihuahua to Mandy? Also, I have no knowledge of any other smaller dogs in my neighborhood, but there are big dogs, so would your advice work too?

Ask where you are going to get the chihuahua (hopefully a shelter) if you can introduce your dog to the chihuahua before adopting most shelters or breeders will let you so that you won't have to relinquish the pet if it doesn't work out

I have two dogs now and brought in a foster dog while she is waiting for a new family to adopt her. I was concerned that she and my dominant male get along.
I did not bring her inside the house. I had my son bring the male out for a walk. We did not introduce them, we just asked them to walk with us as a group. There was no drama at all. It's like she was always here. We paused a ways from the house to let them sniff and pee if they wanted. They only briefly sniffed each other. When we got back to our house we and our male dog brought her inside to meet the 7 month old puppy. The puppy was more excited to meet another dog and welcomed her with lots of licking. The three get along very well!
