I record personal CD's all the time, and have recorded hundreds over the past five years, and had fantastic results. There are pro's & con's for a one to one session, and there are pro's & con's for CD's.
There is a need for this market, and quite a large need for this market in actual fact. Some people are housebound because of their fear or problem. Some people are embarrassed, some people cannot find a therapist close by (in foreign countries) Some don't have time, and some find it cheaper. So quite a lot of good reasons to try a CD. It is probably more comfortable at home as well. Some people just want to give it a try without getting too involved.
I never try and convince people...... other than give these reasons, some would pick a one to one session every time that's great, a personal CD or pre-recorded CD is not for them. Hope this helps.
