I will likely adopt her ... :) but some tips on introducing her to my current cat?

I will meet with the kitty soon.
she's on maternity leave now, but I only need to wait another 3 weeks before I can take her home.

I only worry that my cat (also a she) will get a little jealous.

Here are some tips that I used when introducing my cats.
Let your current cat have the freedom she usually has, only have one room that is off limits to her- and put the new cat in that room. Let them have some contact through the door, but let that be it. Play with each of the cats often. Then, rub a cloth on the cheek of one cat, and the other cat with a different cloth. Then switch the cloths and let them smell each other's scent. After a little while, keep them both on leashes and let them meet each other. This really helped my cats, and I have heard that it works wonderfully for other people too.

that happened to me when i got my second cat. all we did was just bring her home and let the other pet check her out and see wat she's like. bring the food bowl and liter box up to both of the pets so your pet can get used to sharing it with a different/new pet.

Try introducing them slowly, give the new kitty her own space and let them develop their own friendship.

The older cat may start soiling things around your house if she is jealous.
