ideas for non-football fan clients

have any of you ever done a 'game day' promotion? something like

' not interested in the big game? how about massages and back facials instead?
this sunday, while everyone else is feasting on junk food and tv, why not treat yourself to peace and quiet...
blah blah blah'

curious to know if you've ever done this, and if you would - i'm thinking super bowl sunday. yesterday was a huge college game here in AL, and i was kicking myself all day that i hadn't set this up already.

What a great idea! I think the term is "Football Widow" :wink: What would be your timeframe for that? Schedule appts on Sueforum.xxxowl Sunday or throughout January?

i was just thinking on bowl days.. it could be a neat spa party-type atmosphere, something different than a 'regular business day'. and i guess i would also have to say that the number of appoinments is limited.

i think it's a really great idea. i know some girls who have done them before with much success. i haven't tried it before and i probably never will because i'm one of those nutty fans drinking beer, munching on snacks, watching football and gambling on that day! yes, i'm a girl but i just love football! though i don't have to worry about my team being in the super bowl this year....they suck! (i'm a packer fan) although the super bowl is in my city this year! ok. that sucks too. freezing cold detroit!

you could offer it just on that sunday or you could do all bowl games or you could also do something like every sat & sun from the middle of dec through the beginning of feb. depends on how you'd like to set it up! you could make it tons of fun!
