Introducing a new chinchilla question?

And i am getting my male nuetured don't worry
I have put their cages next to eachother for a week, switched their cages for a week, and i put them in a playpen together, and they were fine. But a couple hours later i put them in the playpen together again and my original chinchilla nipped alot at my mew one, and even sprayed urin at him. I have a female that is 2 ( my old one) and a male that is under 1 (my newest one) any ideas to get them along again???

Here are some tips:

1) Take it slow. Speeding things up won't help either chinchilla.

2) It's actually a good thing she sprayed him because now he smells like her.

3) There is really nothing you can do other than switch them back and first, let them have play time, and hope for the best.

5) I can't stress this enough: Take it slow. Forcing two chinchillas upon each other will only stress them out and get you back to starting point one which will take even longer in the end.
