Introducing a new dog?

I have currently a 6 month (Black Mouth Curr) hound puppy, and I am planning on getting a Corgi that is 3 years old,any suggestions on introduction or tips I could use? My puppy is very puppy like, she has been socialized since I got her at 2 months and is good with people and pets alike, the Corgi has been around other dogs since he was born and he has a calmer disposition and is good with people and pets as well. Any Tips and information are much appreciated.

I would do the meet outside in neutral territory and walk them side by side (two different people) for a while until they tire. Never just let dogs meet face to face right away. After a nice walk and no obvious signs of aggression, then allow them to sniff butts, etc.

I used to do a lot of dog fostering and the one way I could always have a happy meeting was to introduce the new dog and current dog outside of my house. I'd put them both on a leash and walk a couple houses away from my house. Once they met on neutral ground, I would walk them both into the house together. Bringing them in together is key...you aren't bringing the new dog into the current dogs territory. Seeing that both of your dogs have a good disposition, I think that should work well. Good luck!
