Introducing a new rat?

I've had rats for years and never had any problems introducing new ones. However, I have two male rats now that will not accept the new 4 month old male rat. Their cages have been next to each other for a few weeks but every time I put them in the bath tub together, its a huge fight. I don't know what else I should do to help the two older rats accept the new one.

Some rats just dont get along at all, and it sounds like you may have some of those rats, so you may just have to accept this and get your 4 month old a new friend
However if you havent tried this you can try:
Getting rid of scents, wash the 4 month old and then put vanilla all over him. The vanilla is a pleasant smell and well help the other rats start a "grooming behavior" by licking off the vanilla. Put vanilla on the big rats as well so if they do start to accept each other then your 4 month old will groom them which is "Respectful" However this still may not work with your rats.
Neutering, If you have your heart set on having your rats together you can have your rats neutered, this takes away that competitiveness in your rats, however, there is always a risk to surgery and it can be quite spendy. Neutering works in most cases with males, but be prepared some rats just dont like each other.

i think its best not too put them together atall. i would recommend getting another male rat for the 4 month old so he has a companion
Males are alot harder to introduce to new males.
OR the only other thing you can do is get the two older males neutered.
