Introducing male rats?

I recently acquired 2 male rats. One from the shelter so we dont know about his past, the other rescued from someone who only fed them people food, and was alone his whole life. I have been doing introductions today, and they went much smoother then i thought they would. 2 minor scuffles and they have been together now for something like 3 hours in their neutral corner. i added fresh toys and houses, they have been cuddling in one of them for about 15 min now. My question is this. how long do i have to leave them getting along before i can move them to a cage?
Forgot to mention they did their quarantine periods.

Hey there,
Well first they should be quarantined for two weeks, but if they have already met it is too late for that.
Usually introductions last a week, with play times of an hour to 3 hours depending on how well they go.
However if your rats are getting on well, by all means put them together. Make sure to check both rats every day for any marks (cuts, blood, ruffled fur etc.) to ensure that they stay safe.
