I remember talking to a family from the London Borough of Ealing a few years back who said that because of the numbers of immigrant children in the school attended by the children, Indian languages such as Gujerati were taught in preference to the normal French, German and Spanish. Because of the number of Polish teachers in our schools, it is easy to suppose that they might be encouraged to teach Polish as a foreign language to pupils.
