Just started college, how do I introduce myself to a guy I like?

I have a crush on a guy who is in a lecture hall with me, but I don't sit near him, and don't really have a way to fit myself into a conversation with him. But I did add him on facebook. How should I introduce myself?

What I've found works the best, is to just walk up & introduce yourself & start a conversation.
It shows you're interested & guys LOVE a girl who's confident.

For me, there's nothing more attractive than a guy that will walk up to me with no problem, & ask me my name.

Confidence is key.

Edit: I wouldn't start a convo on fb, I don't like when people use a social network as an excuse not to interact face to face. Having an actual conversation with someone is way more intimate than someone who can't even say hi in person.

well I am in college too. and if you added me on fb, i'd either be like "who is this girl?" or "hey she's in my _____ class". So try facebook chatting with him one night. Say "hey, I'm (name), we have (class) together", then get the convo goin. I'd love for that to happen to me!

Go up to him and say hi I'm blah blah I'm 18, I think your cute, I like running up walls and playing light-saber dodging, how are you? Don't catch him in a hurry though, he'll think your weird and run away. But if he is relaxed and siting he will try to talk it about, but he'll probably be a little off-guard so you might want to say, you think about what to say and I'll write down this important thing.
