KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Police Department (KPD) conducted an operation to tackle illegal massage parlors in the area following complaints about prostitution services, according to a KPD release.
KPD said the operation, led by the Criminal Investigations Division, Criminal Apprehension Team, and METRO Drug Task Force, targeted multiple locations including Sunshine Massage on W. Gage Blvd., Genesis Spa on W. Clearwater Ave., and Lotus Massage on W. Clearwater Ave.

Several individuals were arrested February 20 and booked into Benton County Jail.
KPD emphasized the importance of addressing potential human trafficking. They said a partnership with Mirror Ministries to provide services to those affected led to a pair of individuals receiving assistance from Mirror Ministries.
