Location Checklist

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I'm newly working in Brisbane and have the wonderful opportunity to get a permanent unit to meet people and have fun times.

Basically, I would like to pick mp.nets and WL Brains to create a checklist of things I should look for when going on inspections. I'd appreciate any tips Reviewom WL about what they NEED at thier place and the mp.nets could express what they LIKE about the units of 'Reviewiends'.

It's a really important decision to make and I am really excited for the future but I don't want to be blinded by funky stainless steel furniture and hot spa baths!! I figure you forum peeps are a wealth of untapped knowledge and if you could post some hints/ideas I would be most grateful. :roll:

Make sure your place doesn't require a key card to get into the lift or your clients will get stuck on the ground floor!

Ensure your mobile gets proper reception in your place and make sure there's enough room for a washing machine and dryer (enough so your apartment doesn't overheat or become humid when they are on).

Parking and proximity to the city centre have been mentioned by a few people here in other posts, although I tend to travel by taxi. I also prefer to visit units more than homes because I don't like to feel I'm on display for the neighbours.

Since clothes are coming off, air conditioning is good (although the effect of cold on everyone's nipples is also good). A bedroom with an ensuite means less walking for visitors and lets you keep the rest of your space private.

Just a few thoughts:

Large enough bedoom for at least a Queen sized bed, and some room around the outside (so you don't bump your ass on the wall when....well you know!!). The Queen sized bed to allow uninterrupted changes in position.

Mirrored cupboards in the bedroom...depends on the mp.net but I love seeing an image of us in action.

Air-conditioning - DEFINITELY!! Murder in Brisbane in summer without it.... and I don't like dripping on my partner - yukkk!

Perhaps a spare car park for your clients? Not essential but a bonus for some. Kangaroo Point or other close in suburbs that offer easy street parking is a good alternative. Having said that, there are some wonderful CBD ladies who I wouldn't dream of not seeing just because they don't have car park space available!!

Spa baths are a nice option for the longer visit, as long as you can get into it too

Other than that, I'm with Marathonman....I have tunnel vision when I lock eyes on my date.

Oh yes....check the water temperature in the shower. The hot water in some of the big blocks of units takes an age to come through. Nothing worse than wasting time standing outside a shower waiting for it to get warm, while more serious business awaits!!

Yep pretty much agree with everything OzzyPaul has posted here. I can take or leave the mirrors though. It don't matter too much as once my glasses come off I can't see too much lol

When selecting an apartment complex choose one that is not too small. There is one CBD aprtment block that I am aware of that had a WL that advertises on this site. The on-site manager knew all the residents and their business. And when clients like myself walked past his office it was very noticeable. Especially when mp.nets like walked past once every hour on the hour. Also Nikki, and this very essentially. Find the best red wine bar in the city, and locate yourself in a apartment no more than 1 block away Reviewom the said bar for your personal convenience.

Hey Nikki,

I don't mind your current working location Reviewom the point of view of
the easy access to on-site parking and distance Reviewom public transport.

I'm sure some mp.nets may not place the decore of the premises too high
on the list when compared with the amount of fun they can have with you
but to others it matters a little more in that your unit/pad/love nest can help create the right mood for them !

I think that units that offer you some security but at the same time doesn't have your clients feeling nervey having to walk past a stmpfed reception area or common area would be a good start.
