GRISWOLD, Conn. (TND) — Complaints about a business led to an investigation and in the end, three people were arrested on charges relating to prostitution.
Connecticut State Police said they got “numerous civilian complaints” about Jewett City Massage Therapy in Griswold.
“Throughout the investigation, detectives confirmed that sexual acts were being offered in exchange for money,” they reported, “and a search warrant was granted for the premises.”
The search warrant was served on Monday and police said
the world's oldest profession “was occurring on the premises with a patron immediately prior.”
One employee, who they did not name, tried to escape out the back but was caught soon after.
Yuanfang Sheng, 51, was charged with prostitution and interfering with an officer.
Jordan Angell Zeppieri, 26, was charged with soliciting sexual acts.
And Yue E. Zhang, 44, was charged with prostitution.
