More arrests made in Chesterfield investigation into illicit massage businesses - WWBT

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - Four more arrests have been made as police continue their investigation into illicit massage businesses in Chesterfield.

On Monday, police conducted undercover operations at Massage for You and International Spa both off E. Hundred Road.

Police say a masseuse at both locations solicited an undercover detective for illicit sexual acts for money.

As a result of the undercover stings, Huayan Zhang, 44, and Quiyan Zhang, 42, at Massage for You, and Yujuan Zhang, 41, and Qiuhong Yan, 58, at International Spa were arrested.

According to police, all four women have addresses in Flushing, N.Y.

All women face charges, including keeping/residing in a bawdy place, prostitution and performing a massage without a proper permit.

These arrests come one month after police conducted an undercover operation at Ocean Spa off Hull Street Road.

Chesterfield Police also confirmed they believe these incidents are connected to a Chinese crime ring that is paying the women who were arrested and funding their travel to the area.

The investigation into these businesses remains ongoing.
