So, this morning I wake up and get my clothes on to go outside. I stop off at Car Quest and Home Depot.

At Carquest, I buy a pair of lock ring pliers. The lady helping me doesn't know what they are or what they look like. She works at Car Quest. I am not kidding.

I then head over to home depot and I see a 20ft 4 Guage set of booster cables for $20. I ask the lady who is on the floor and nearby if she the store has any booster cable sets with larger clamps, because the small clamps cause an issue when clamping onto battery posts. I like the 20ft length and the 4 Gauge thickness, but I want larger clamps. Some booster cables have smaller clamps than others.

So, the lady at Home Depot checks the computer and tells me they have an 8 Gauge booster cable set and maybe that would be what I am looking for.

I asked her: Who told you that 8 Gauge booster cables are 'bigger' than 4 Gauge booster cables?

Sigh.

Who is responsible for this?

I usually laugh when I hear a car guy talk about 'blowing his tranny' or 'breaking his tranny'.

If Angela was a car, she would be a Honda Civic, with a turbo that produced 1800 HP.
