My boyfriend rejected my offer to introduce him to my family?

I feel really insulted. Where do I go from here?

I think he's just shy. My boyfriend was really shy when he met my mom. I haven't met his family, either (except for a couple of sisters-his family is big). Some guys are probably just nervous around their girlfriends' parents and won't know what to do or how to act to make a good impression. Don't feel insulted! I'm sure he wasn't trying to insult you on purpose.

How long have u both been in a relationship? If more than 6 months then its time for both parties to introduce each other to friends, family, relatives as boyfriend/girlfriend. Nothing wrong with that.
I understand your predicaments, il feel bad the same way.
Better yet you talk with him and ask why, if he answered that he felt its too soon. Then ask him his opinion on how long the relationship should be to be introduce into the inner circle...
But then again, be wary....and try to read all visible sign with your mind (our heart is blind). Majority (not all) of those guys who dont like to introduce a girl to his family are not serious about her... Its not that she is not from a good family, but often times in India's case, his parents might have already chosen somebody for him...In the end, its always the arranged marriage thing that prevails instead of love. JUST BE CAREFUL...
