it once a day?
When he was born he weighed 7lb and 6oz and at his 2 month check up he weighed 13lbs and 8oz this is when he told me at 3 months to start the cereal and fruits...he has had cereal in his bottle since he was one month old due to reflux..I figured the doctor told me to do this because he said a baby is supposed to gain 2 pounds a month instead of 4 so I thought he wanted to slow down his weight gain!!
 
yea i agree with some of the other people that you may want to at least ask your baby's doctor why he said what he said or better yet go to another doctor that may either back up what your original doctor said or to correct your original doctor's mistakes... doctors are not always right in their decisions and especially when it comes to a baby's health it may be best to double check with another doctor :)
