My living boyfriend introduced me like I'm not living with him. Is it ok?

We are together almost 2 years and he moved into my place about 8 months ago.
Well, one day at the park, a girl with a guy started to talking to my boyfriend. I walked up to my boyfriend and he told her/them that I live nearby and he is hanging out.
I questioned him why he didn't say that we live together or something. He was like "it was casual conversation and I felt it's unnecessary to tell those people about my personal life"
Do you agree with him? Am I overreacting since the girl was very pretty? By the way they didn't seem to be intimate couple, more like friends.
What do you think??

I don't agree with him either, i don't see anything wrong with telling people that you live together. You have been living together for 8 months for christ's sake! How much longer do you have to live together to be recognised as his live-in girlfriend?!

As for his 'personal life' excuse, is he ashamed that you live together or something, how many other people actually know that you live together? Or is he super religious, and defying his church by living with you?

yeah that doesnt really make much since for him to do that. i mean i guess you dont have anything to worry about if he introduced you as his girlfriend lol. know wat i mean. also if he didnt give her his number or anything like that either then your definetly good would be kinda hard to be like hey heres my number or hey meet me here at this time lol. also if he took time to think of an answer he was lying it just depends on how he told you.

Personally, I would say you have reason to question him! If you're his girlfriend, he should be proud to say so! I know I would most likely be curious as to why he didn't bother to mention it.
Although, I suppose it depends on his personality. Is he a fairly quiet, keep-to-himself kind of guy? If so, maybe what he says is true.
Otherwise, try to talk to him again if it's bugging you. If you're living together, you're probably close, right? If he insists that he just didn't feel the need to share it, don't be scared to let him know how it made you feel!
