My son wants to introduce his girl friend to us. What is an appropriate

place to meet her? I think the best place for him to bring her is our house. He thinks we should meet her at a restaurant and then for the first time she comes to our house, she should accompany her parents. I do not know of any traditions. Guys, help me.

What I am thinking is that at the house we can talk without worrying about others listenting to our conversation. I have met the girl before, it is his father who has never met the girl

I would think that this would depend on your son's age. If he is 14, then definitely he should bring her to the house. If he is lots older and this is a serious relationship, then either the house or a restaurant would be just fine.

Regarding meeting her parents, it would be nice to have a gathering at your house.

I don't know any traditions regarding this. Perhaps some cultures have traditions. I would definitely ask Sonny if the GF's culture has "parent-meeting-traditions" and try to honor them.

It is good that your son wants you to meet his GF and her family in the best possible circumstances. Maybe she is the ONE! I hope you find her to be a 'keeper!'
