Are the massages comp? Can you bring a movable screen, like an inexpensive shoshi screen? Will you be handing out info?I'd keep the table in plain sight, stand at the front of the booth, and greet people as they passed. Say something like,"Hello, would you like to try a complimentary massage?"In a cheery voice! You have something wonderful to offer...If they stop to consider, (Big Friendly Smile!) extend your hand, and introduce yourself, "My name is _____. I'm a licensed therapist representing _______. We're a multi-disciplinary clinic specializing in _____ and ____. ย I'll give you a leaflet about our services after the massage."If they say no thanks,...say, "Well, please take our information, some one in your family may be interested, and they'll be grateful that you thought of it, and passed it on."If they take it then, say "If you change your mind, please come back and I'll be glad to give you a sample massage."And say "Thank you so much for stopping by...(or for considering our services)" with a big smile, if they say "no thanks". You could do the reverse, Greet and hand out the leaflet or info pack, and then offer massage if they are interested, but what will they do with it when you are giving the massage? You'll have to take it out of their hand again.I'd bring the screen just in case someone feels shy about being watched while massaged. You can position it so that people don't see the person, but see you massaging at least part of the time. If they don't ask for the screen, even better! When people see you in action, they'll be standing in line
Is there a special offer on the first visit? Will there be a sign up sheet there?
